Lake George Carousel

Lake George Carousel
8"x10"
Acrylic on panel

I finally finished my carousel painting! I've been working on it on and off for quite some time now, but pushed recently to get it done! I posted some process shots of this painting a few months ago on my blog, explaining that I began it while I was living and working in a gallery in New York with Clint.

Carousel painting in progress

Lake George Village Carousel
8"x10"
Acrylic on panel

I decided to post some progress photos of a painting I started a year ago when I was living in NY. It has a long way to go. I keep coming back to it in between paintings. Clint and I were living and working in a gallery in Bolton Landing. Lake George Village was only a few minutes away. I love that area! It's a cute little town on the water. This is a carousel we used to walk by all of the time. I'm excited about this piece and I'm looking forward to finishing it!

Lake George Mirror Article

This is an article that was recently published in the Lake George Mirror about an artist's residency I'm doing in upstate NY at Shelley's International. The article was written by Tony Hall who came into the gallery, along with his wife, and sat down with me, Clint, and Jeff, the owner. The paintings in the photo are of the "Boathouse Bed and Breakfast", which I had just finished and a painting titled "Apple and Arsenic".
I am currently working on a piece of the Carousel in Lake George Village. I should have an image of it up by next week!
