Wanted to paint something I had never painted before...when I went to the grocery store and saw this green tomato, I thought it would look really nice with the bright purple turnips, which are tricky to paint! Pretty happy with the way it turned out though...

I picked out these shells from a bunch I have collected over time while taking walks on the beach....I love the one on the right...the pattern and colors....struggled with the little conch shell initially...I lost the roundness of the object when I began putting in the details, so I went back in and repainted some of the lights and darks...

This is the first egg painting I've ever done! Really tricky making them look round...I was drawn to the speckled Quail eggs....I like the crack in the egg in the middle and the blue background...
