Someone recently gave me some blank watercolor postcards, so I decided to do a couple of self portraits! I did these quickly using a small hand held mirror.
First time I've ever painted a copper pot...challenging to say the least, but I learned a lot! I like things that sparkle...I painted this because I wanted to capture some of the sparkle and glow of the pot...I also like the way the shadow of the handle looked against the background...
I just finished this 7 x 9 painting of the Boathouse Bed and Breakfast in Bolton Landing, NY on Lake George. I pass it many mornings while going on long walks and thought it would make a fun painting.
It is available through Shelley's International Gallery of Fine Art also in Bolton Landing, NY.
