I love when I go into the grocery store and find produce with personality! Love the shapes and colors of these pears plus the stem and shadow on the red one really makes the painting work!

The bumps on the pear on the left are what drew me to it when I saw it in the grocery store and were  fun to paint...challenging but fun..I've painted pears before, but have never studied the form like I did with this one...

I think its the bumps  on the one on the left that give it personality...

New Pear study....I haven't painted pears in awhile, but I loved the colors and shapes...like the way the two look together...as if one is talking to the other...nuzzling the other's nose...
