This piece was influenced by my fascination

with pink elephants. I started thinking

about how I could incorporate them into a still life. 

I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

   This is a portrait I did years ago during an internship...I was creating art with children who were staying in a local hospital, undergoing treatment...As I got to spend more time with some of the kids, I began sketching them when we were sitting around talking...It was an amazing experience...shortly after, someone saw the portraits, which led to a commission in the hospital.

This is a peice I just finished, inspired by the

         Riverside/Avondale area of Jacksonville, Florida. It will be featured in an upcoming show at the Cummer Museum in Jacksonville, FL from June 14 - July 31, 2011.
