Pink Elephants
18"x24"
Acrylic on canvas

This piece was influenced by my fascination
with pink elephants. I started thinking
about how I could incorporate them into a still life.
I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

                         18"x24"
                   Acrylic on canvas

This is a portrait I did years ago during an internship...I was creating art with children who were staying in a local hospital, undergoing treatment...As I got to spend more time with some of the kids, I began sketching them when we were sitting around talking...It was an amazing experience...shortly after, someone saw the portraits, which led to a commission in the hospital.

Christmas Tree

Here is one I finished over the holidays. I loved the way the red balls looked hanging on the tree but wasn't quite prepared for the labor of painting the branches. It took a while to solve the problem of not having to paint every single strand and yet still have the tree read as a tree. I think I got the warm Christmas feel I was looking for.
