Coconut and Lime Commisiion

Coconut and Lime Commission
8x10
Acrylic on panel

I recently finished this commission. The client bought a total of five paintings!
This is the third coconut and lime painting I've done...It's wonderful when I'm painting and I feel like things are going smoothly. I had a lot of fun painting this coconut. It's the first time I cracked one open on my own. I bought two...the first one was rotten, but this half had a lot of neat looking ridges.

Red and Gold

Red and Gold
6"x6"
Acrylic on panel

Just sold this painting...One of my favorites...I saw this apple and thought it would look beautiful with a gold background...I enjoyed laying in a pattern over the gold...similar to the one I used in "Two Apples".

Cherries in a Pink Teacup

Cherries In A Pink Teacup
6"x6"
Acrylic on panel

Just finished this piece....This is another teacup my friend Jen lent me...She has a great collection she's building! The teacup itself is an awkward shape to paint, but I think the colors and detail are beautiful...

Persimmons

Persimmons
6"x6"
Acrylic on panel

Just finished this painting of two persimmons...I think they pulled off the leaves, which accounts for the black markings...did a quick study of persimmons a few months ago, which inspired me to make this piece....I like the purplish background against the orange...

Apple and Orange Cherries

Apple and Orange Cherries
6"x6"
Acrylic on panel

After I finished my quick study, I decided to use the same apple with these beautiful orange cherries I found at the grocery store! First time I've ever seen anything other than red cherries...I like how some of the stems are attached at the top...
